Experience/Achievements

Prof. Dr. Shefali Joshi, is a wellknown Hotel Industry personality, with a vast experience of 24 years. She has served both the Corporate and Academics world in different capacities. She has worked with renowned Indian Hospitality Group like Taj Group of Hotel, Mumbai. She started her academic career with Prestigious Dr. D.Y.Patil Institute of Hotel Management, Pune. She has worked as Training and Placement coordinator for almost 16 yrs. She has been handling subjects like Food Production, Accommodation and Marketing Management. She has hosted few renowned cookery shows on Television like ‘ Amhi sare Khavvaiye and Khana Khajana ‘ on Z Tv and SAM Tv. She served Suryadatta College of Hospitality Management and Travel Tourism, Pune as Principal.

As a Doctorate in management her dissertation was on the topic, “Impact of Foreign Invasion on Indian Food”. She is an alumnus of the 1994 batch from the Maharashtra State Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Pune (former FCI), where she has done her Diploma in Hotel Management. She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management and Master of Arts from University of Pune as well.
She is the author of two books ‘Rooms Division Technology ‘and ‘Principles of Food Production’. She is a visionary who hopes to motivate students to become great leaders in the world of hospitality.
She has always been part of curriculum Development and updation for Hospitality Studies Programme and has published many Research Papers in renowned International and National Journals. She has also won Best Research Paper award in National Seminar organized in association with Savitri Bai Phule, Pune University in 2016.
She has recently initiated and signed MoU for college with prestigious Russian Institute SWISSAM, Russia for Academic and research Collaboration.

Experience/Achievements

Chef Sunil Salunke has wide experience of about twenty five years. He has approximately twelve years of work experience as HOD (Food Production) with India’s premier Maritime Training Institute; over there he was associated with programme affiliated by University of Mumbai, Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) and tailor made courses as per the demand of shipping principals. He has also worked as Senior Sous Chef with Kohinoor Continental, Mumbai for three years. His experience also includes Goa Renaissance and later with Best Western Group of Hotels as Sous Chef. Further, He has been associated with Cidade-de-Goa as CDP and later senior CDP for five years. Besides this, he also has more than three years of experience of Sheraton Group of Hotels (Mughal Sheraton, Agra) as job trainee and later as commis in Indian Kitchen.

Mrs. Priyanka is one of the young energetic faculty of Jodhpur Institute of Hotel Management who is fresh from Industry. Mrs. Priyanka has done her B.Sc. H&HA from State Institute of Hotel Management, Jodhpur and currently pursuing her masters. After her under graduation she joined Kempinsky Ambience Hotel, New Delhi as Hotel Operation Trainee. She carriers around two years of working experience in Ajit Bhawan, Jodhpur. Before joining JIHM she was teaching associate with Food Craft Institute, Ajmer.
Mrs. Priyanka taking subjects related to rooms division and is mentor for diploma Front Office students.
